After spending over a decade in the modeling industry, I decided to transition into the world of fitness as I always had a passion for staying fit as a model. I had never really considered personal training as a career until I took my first step 20+ years ago and received my first personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). I started my career as a trainer in a commercial gym and quickly noticed, whilst watching other personal trainers, that there was a lot of standing and talking and not as much training. As a result, it didn’t take me long to realize that I had something completely different and unique to offer. That’s when I decided it was time to set out on my own because I really wanted to be known for helping my clients get something that they might have considered unattainable before…Results.
In next to no time, my hard-nosed training style helped me build a successful career in the heart of the New York City and eventually leading to owning my very own gym called Peak Performance. My gym grew from year to year and I was very lucky to quickly develop a reputation as one of the top trainers in the country with my client base including professional athletes, corporate professionals, and A-List celebrities.
In the Spring of 2016, I closed my gym and whilst people might look at my career and say that it was as much success as anyone could ask for, for me it still wasn’t enough. I decided to turn my focus on a new goal - to deliver my knowledge and expertise on a global level. I knew that in order to do that I needed to take my training available online and since then I have been pouring my knowledge and skills into a one-of-a-kind online fitness coaching platform that can be accessed by absolutely anyone, anywhere in the world.
Playing sports and training has always been part of my DNA. My training regimen mainly revolves around strength training and boxing/kickboxing which is my real passion. As far as strength training goes, I usually perform 2-3 total body strength training sessions per week and I will vary between lower volume, higher intensity sessions and higher volume, low to moderate intensity sessions. For me the strength training is about keeping my lean muscle mass and maintaining a decent amount of strength. On the other hand, my boxing/kickboxing workouts are what get me fired up! I try to go to the boxing gym 3-4 times per week. Honestly, there is just something about hitting the heavy bag, working the mitts/pads and doing some light sparring that I just love. I’m addicted!
